This antique pipe bowl belonged to a soldier named Georg Daube. The style of writing and shape of the bowl would indicate this is quite old, possibly between 1830-1900. The pipe bowl measures 5.25", the bore to the stem is 12/64ths with some remaining cork, the edge of the mouth is 1.25", has some milli...

A beautiful example of art nouveau pendant lighting from the 1920's! This would have hung in an entryway or possibly over a kitchen table. The glass shade has a clambroth appearance and is in excellent condition for its age - no cracks, repairs or any chipping outside of flea bites, appropriate for age and use. The fixture and ceiling mount do not attract a magnet, and the ceiling mount has bee...

This antique basket shows the decades of use in the worn handle and the interior patina. Used for centuries to gather rice from the field, this design was easy to carry and fill, with the tapered sides and arched handle. Made entirely of what is likely Chinese fir wood with a traditional tung oil finish, it has hand-cut joinery and the original iron nails and brackets, which is different than t...

This is a gorgeous Japanese export vase, heavy in weight and substantial in size at 10.25" tall. It's made of a metal, likely bronze, based on weight and lack of magnetism. Two dragon handles, also bronze and a cast metal relief band depicting birds and mythical creatures around the center of the piece. In very good condition for its age, it has a small scuff below the bronze band on one side. ...

This cast iron door knocker has an amazing patina, and I will guess it is cast iron as it strongly attracts a magnet. It features a lion, popular in England in the late 1800s/early 1900s as a symbol of strength, protection and English power. The part that attaches to the door is a solid piece, and the knocker is attached via the ring in the lion's mouth. This has a hole on either side of the li...

The story of T. Scot Halpin is kind-of fascinating. He was a husband, a father and an artist, but did you know that he was also a temporary drummer for The Who? It's true! But before I tell you the story, I want to tell you about this print - pencil signed and titled, it is nicely matted and framed in a black metal tension frame. Minor scuffing to the frame, no damage to the print or mat. It me...
